Prices and discounts

The price of a configuration is built in layers. This page walks through them in order - from the single line to the rebate on the whole.

How prices appear in a stream

Products free of charge

Every product in this stream costs nothing.

Meant for mandatory options and pseudo products such as colours, which should have no price of their own.

Products free of charge, but show prices

The lines are free but the prices stay visible.

Hide prices

Takes prices out of the display entirely - useful when everything would otherwise read “0.00”.

Relative prices

Shows every line as a surcharge on the current selection.

Without multiple selection it is the difference from the chosen product, positive or negative.

Carcass width relative prices
80 cmbase price €189.00 120 cm + €74.00 60 cm − €31.00
Colour required products free of charge
Anthracite €0.00 Natural oak €0.00

Prices of your own

Prices tab

An individual price per product, valid only within this stream. The catalogue price stays untouched.

Extended prices

Prices tied to conditions - the same system as Shopware’s own advanced prices.

Currency dependent prices

A separate amount per currency instead of a conversion.

Is Percentage Surcharge

Set on the product: its own price is ignored and a percentage on the entire configuration applies instead.

  • Displayed as Percentage Surcharge
  • Displayed as Absolute Price

Rebate

Rebate on the configurator

A percentage for the parent product and all components, or for the activated streams.

Exclude parent

Takes the parent product out of the rebate.

Rebate on the stream

Every stream has a rebate field of its own. It either inherits from the configurator or is set individually.

Threshold

Scope

What the threshold refers to.

  • Per configurator - counted across streams; once the threshold is reached, all components are rebated
  • Per stream - counted per group; only where the threshold is reached is anything rebated

Condition

What the threshold is measured against.

  • Quantity - a fixed number of products, regardless of value
  • Price - a value of the selection, regardless of the number

Show hint

Tells the customer how far they are from the threshold.

Depending on the plugin configuration as a message and/or a graphical bar; depending on the scope on the configurator or on each stream.

What does not count

The parent product and percentage surcharges count towards neither the quantity nor the sum.

Percentage surcharges are moreover never rebated. With scope “per stream” the parent product is always rebated, with “per configurator” only when the condition is met.

Frequently asked questions

Can I discount the accessories only?
Yes. Set the rebate on that stream rather than on the configurator and exclude the parent product if needed.
Does the configurator rebate apply without a configuration?
Not if you decide in the settings that a parent product without components is treated as a normal product. The rebate then does not apply to it.
Why is my percentage surcharge not rebated?
Because that is intended. Percentage surcharges are excluded from the rebate and do not count towards the threshold either.
